People searching for a “Claude watermark remover” usually want unmarked text. Claude’s documented text watermark is statistical, not a hidden Unicode string you can delete. AI Watermark Center does not claim successful removal of Claude’s statistical text watermark, and deleting zero-width characters is not verified Claude watermark removal. This page explains that distinction; it does not provide evasion, detector bypass, or verified removal.

What people usually mean by “remover”

Searchers often want a button that makes Claude-generated text look unmarked. That request collides with two different mechanisms. The official text watermark, as Anthropic describes it, lives in which plausible words were chosen. Hidden Unicode, metadata, and C2PA credentials are other questions entirely.

What is not verified removal

  • Deleting zero-width characters does not constitute verified Claude watermark removal.
  • Metadata cleanup is unrelated to Claude’s statistical text watermark.
  • AI Watermark Center does not claim successful removal unless independently verifiable — and we cannot currently verify this watermark at all.

What Anthropic says about editing

Anthropic states that light editing probably will not remove the watermark completely, and that a complete rewrite replacing every word will. This page records that official limitation. It does not provide rewrite instructions, paraphrasing, token substitution, synonym attacks, or a “remaining watermark %” score.

What this site will not build

There is no automatic rewriter, stealth mode, or detection-evasion tester on AI Watermark Center. Those products would be unverifiable here and would conflict with the rule that we only claim what we can verify.
