Privacy Policy
How AI Watermark Center handles information, including local text and image inspection.
This policy describes the website at https://aiwatermarkcenter.com, operated under the AI Watermark Center brand. It does not invent a company registration, postal address, or named staff.
Information we process
When you visit the site, the hosting provider may record ordinary technical logs such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and time. We do not operate a first-party analytics product in this phase, and we do not ask you to create an account.
Cookies and similar storage
Phase 1 does not set analytics or advertising cookies. See the Cookie Policy for categories we expect to use later and for the current “none of those are active” status.
Contact email
If you write to contact@aiwatermarkcenter.com, we will receive the content of that message and any address you send from, in order to reply. Correspondence is not used for advertising profiling in Phase 1.
Local text and image inspection
The AI Text Watermark Scanner and the Image Metadata & C2PA Inspector run in your browser. Pasted text and selected images are not sent to AI Watermark Center servers for analysis. Future analytics, if enabled, will not include pasted text, image bytes, filenames, coordinates, or metadata values.
The image inspector loads a C2PA WebAssembly module and worker from this website. That is application code, not an upload of your file. Trust-list fetching is not enabled, so the inspector does not send your image or a fingerprint to a third-party credential store.
External provider verification
Informational pages may link to official provider tools such as OpenAI Verify. This site does not iframe, proxy, or automatically send your files to OpenAI. If you follow an “Official OpenAI verification” link, you leave this site and use OpenAI’s own upload flow under OpenAI’s terms. Linking to that tool does not change the local image-inspection claim.
The OpenAI Content Provenance API is documented but not integrated. If a later phase integrates it, this policy will be updated before launch, including upload, retention, and credential handling.
Research samples
Editors may store owned or permissioned research samples privately for analysis. Those files are not uploaded to this website’s public hosting by default, are not sent to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or Adobe by this site, and are not included in analytics.
Future analytics and advertising
If Google Analytics, a similar measurement product, or Google AdSense is introduced, this policy and the cookie policy will be revised first. Analytics and advertising will be designed to respect a consent decision collected through a Google-certified consent management platform where that is required. A homemade banner will not be treated as a substitute for that requirement.

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to contact@aiwatermarkcenter.com. We will describe what we actually hold. We will not invent a data inventory for systems that are not running.
